point the situation in Tournon

The Network Education without Borders Tournon cares now more particularly four families living in Tournon or surroundings, and wants to keep citizens informed of changing situations.

First Family: a couple and their three children, one born on April 9, 2009 in Valencia. This

Armenian family, arrived in France in 2005, fled to Armenia and Moscow as it was in danger because of his religion, minority Yezidi. She is bringing a case before the Council of State because all his attempts to be corrected have so far failed. This family is very well integrated, the mother speaks very good French and the children are normally educated in their village. Another Armenian family living in Montelimar Yesid learned that part of his family in Armenia had been killed with knives. The danger remains very real.

Second Family: This family consists of a couple and two children, one born in

France, arrived in France in 2006. They were Armenian and fled because the dad is from uncouple mixed Armenian-Azeri. The couple had experienced physical violence such as the mother lost a baby she waited under the blows, and the father's father was killed trying to protect his wife. They await the result of an administrative remedy for obtaining their regulation, are well integrated in their village, children are educated and speak good French.

Third family: The Armenian family, consisting of a couple, three children and

maternal grandmother, arrived in France in September 2007. They bear the visible scars of physical abuse they suffered. The violence is due to the fact that the mother was born in Baku, and ostracized by the Armenian population like Turkey, it is also not, and then by local police because they were witnesses to an opposition party, serious irregularities during the elections. They also expect their regularization, feel good in France and recover their strength after the trauma.

Fourth family Armenian family also consists of a couple and a child of 1.5 years, arrived in the region in recent months.

CIRCLE OF SILENCE

CALL FOR SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES REQUIRED TO HIDE

No return for A. 7 year old who was scheduled to resume classes at EC 1, Vincent D'Indy School, or for his sister three years enrolled in school Kindergarten Jacques Prévert in Tournon-sur-Rhone (Ardeche).

They had to leave their homes after a refusal given their first application for regularization. Followed immediately by an order to leave the French territory when they have the RIGHT to make a second application for a residence permit. It's still that Act " immigration, "devoid of any sense if one considers that those who drafted it are stupid or devoid of all humanity if we consider that the same people turned their texts so that can not be accused of refusing "de facto" applications for regularization, but can eliminate any chance for asylum seekers to build cases and complete them in good conditions. As they are denied the right to live in dignity and right to go to school for their children.

The Act allows a temporary residence permit is issued to these families while their case is reviewed, but this same Act authorizes the prefects to issue OQTF as they wish and thereby remove the right to expect these families in dignity.

How do I accept that this family of three children including a baby of 4 months was able to sleep two days in the street, hidden among the trash, so the fear caused by the arrival of police the same day had terrorized.

Thus, a third family is now in hiding until the Act, which gives them the right to file a case, rendered its verdict on their application for regularization.

Once again, we will demonstrate by our silence, our support for these families. 10 minutes, ½ hour, 1 hour, each with its presence can testify that we have not become blind and deaf to deny humanity.

Circle of Silence will take place Saint Julien Saturday, September 12, 2009 between 10am and 11am.
