How To Replace The Battery Of Talking Gi Joe

A school, but also a holding

The operation was founded the same year as high school. It is located 200 m from our classrooms.
Several productions are present on the farm:

=> A milk production with a quota of 450 000 + 15 000 Litres Litres Direct Selling (self high school, the catering Neuburg, and of course a few individuals). This quota is produced with a number of 60 cows Prim Holstein and some Islands. All heifers are kept for herd replacement, and the males are sold at a livestock dealer.

The rate of the herd are: TP is 33 g / l and TB: 42.1 g / l

All cows are artificially inseminated, and not by a bull on the farm, of fact, our regular attendance (see daily) on the farm, which could cause security risks. More by artificial insemination, genetics can be more efficient and save time.

=> A poultry production: The workshop was created poultry in 1987 following the introduction of milk quotas in 1984, but also to maintain the workforce. Several tracks at that time were investigated but the school wanted to implement a quality production. So they thought to produce calves at foot, but this time there was no local industry for this type of production. Sows raised in the open air? Again the proximity of the city was problematic. The hen was also considered. The team decided to choose the offer from Northern Poultry and produce 12 600 Label Rouge chickens per year.

=> Cereal production: The total area amounts to 142.52 ha, with a long rotation balanced and diversified.

Several crops are located (Crop rotation Campaign 2010-2011):
- Wheat
55.52 hectares - 14.26 hectares Lin
- Peas 9.78 ha
- Rapeseed 7.26
ha - 6.51 ha beet
- Corn
18.09 ha - 31.1 ha Prairie

Sole maize is used to feed the flock. It is the staple food of the diet.
The flax was sold to the cooperative scutching Neuburg. It will be used for making son and make rope, boat hulls, or even snowshoes.
beet quota is 387 tonnes (right sugar), they are removed by truck and are then delivered to the sugar factory of Saint Louis Sucre Etrepagny (Jeremy, you realize, they come home now!).
The entire sole wheat, rapeseed and peas is delivered to the cooperative (Cap Seine-Eure Beuzelin and agricultural).
The distribution of land: The operation of the school has some of the land but is also a tenant on parts.
=> Land owned 109.40 acres
=> Land rent 8.10 ha
=> Land for rent precarious 25.02 ha
For a total of 142.52 ha.

The land is quite fragmented, and the nearest land located around the farm and most are 6 km away, to Iville.

The main texture of the soil is deep silt, which allows a high yield potential and quality.
The physical composition of soils is:
- Clay
12% - 78% Silt
- Sand 9%

Manpower:
It comprises:
=> a COO Alain Rochegude (you already know we had an article on his arrival), full time
=> ; a responsible farm full-time (Remi)
=> a charge of culture (Patrick)
=> and an employee of replacement quarter time to replace the responsible for some weekends and during holidays (Laetitia).
